After receiving his Ph.D. from APA accredited California School of Professional Psychology in Fresno, California,  Captain Christensen completed an APA approved pre-doctoral internship at Silas B. Hays Army Community Hospital at Fort Ord, California . He also received post-doctoral training and supervision at The Veterans Administration Hospital in Columbia, South Carolina with a focus on psychological and neuropsychological evaluations.  Dr. Christensen completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Pediatric Psychology at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington then was promoted to the position of Child Psychology Fellowship Director at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. During his time there, he was instrumental in establishing the medical center’s first APA accredited post-doctoral psychology training program.

Dr. Christensen proudly serves the Fairchild Air Force Base Community. He accepts all major insurances and is an in-network Tricare provider.
